A musician of uncommon versatility, cellist and composer Tom Kersey defies classification. He is equally at home performing
original compositions with his jazz, rock, experimental, fusion and world music groups as he is with performing both classic and contemporary works from the classical cello repertoire. As a composer and improvisor, Tom’s original music is infused with elements of contemporary classical, modern jazz, a wide range of rock styles, world music, and the avant-garde. Mr. Kersey performs mainly in and around Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and Orlando, Florida, with occasional perfromances in New York City and elsewhere.
